Nicola is a long to oval-shaped waxy potato with a creamy yellow skin and yellow flesh with a firm texture and a buttery flavour.
It is best steamed, boiled or roasted whole. Makes a terrific salad or boiling potato but is also great for mash, dry baking and gratins and baked dishes but not recommended for frying.
